Dr. Emily K Robinson, MD FACS graduated with Honors from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas in 1993. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Houston, during which she was awarded a NIH T-32 postdoctoral research fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. After her surgical residency she completed a Breast Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Robinson returned to UT Houston as surgical faculty. She has devoted her time to developing a busy surgical practice focused on disease of the breast. She continued her NIH funded research and has served on multiple committees for both the hospital and medical school. She is the Chair of the Memorial Hermann Integrated Cancer and Surgical Process Improvement Committees. She serves as the Vice Chair of Quality and Associate Program director for the Department of Surgery.
Dr. Robinson has a dual appointment to the Departments of Surgery and Medical Oncology. She sees patients at her office in Bellaire and in the Memorial Hermann TMC Cancer Center as part of an integrated multi-specialty breast clinic. She treats benign as well as malignant disease of the breast and performs operative procedures at Memorial Hermann TMC, Texas Women’s and Westside Surgical Hospital. Her Office Hours are Monday 9-3 at the Bellaire Office and Thursday 12-4 and Friday 9-12 at TMC Cancer Center.
