Kulvinder S. Bajwa, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Bajwa is a physician with the Minimally Invasive Surgeons of Texas and provides patient care at the University of Texas Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery Center, which is located at 6700 West Loop South, Suite 500, in Bellaire, Texas. He is the Trauma Medical Director at Memorial Hermann Hospital Southwest.

Dr. Bajwa earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas. He completed the Residency Program at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center/Temple University in Johnstown, PA. Dr. Bajwa began his military duties in 1987 and presently is a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, Medical Corps. Dr. Bajwa is a board-certified surgeon, and he began his career with the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2008.
